4. Handy Vets
Handy Vets has a complete list of services being offered to both consumers and businesses which many veterans. Services for which many veterans already have skills and experience to perform without any need for a degree or additional special training. This means they can sign up and start earning an income immediately after the site is launched.
5. LaGuardia Community College
Free GED and College Prep classes as well as information on resources and services for vets.
6. Knot Standard Issue
Veterans receive a discount on a custom-made suit as part of an exclusive partnership between BBs and Knot Standard. Takes approximately four weeks.
7. Service to School
This organization assists returning vets gain admission into undergraduate and graduate schools. Services include test prep, resume assistance, application/essay review, interview prep, and networking opportunities.
8. Workforce Opportunity Services
Workforce Opportunity Services train Veterans to enter today's highly competitive workforce. Veterans are given the opportunity to learn professional skills, gain exposure to the corporate work environment and earn an academic certificate from local university.
