ETS SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM (NYC)
(Sponsor can be a Veteran or Civilian)
The ETS Sponsorship Program will continue to expand to cities throughout the nation to assist more transitioning service members on more military installations by providing a one-on-one relationships and resources similar to those experienced in the PCS sponsorship program. With support that eases them from one chapter of life to the next, transitioning servicemembers can continue to thrive and contribute to their new communities after military service. The program will seek to carve out a space for these service members to have a new sense of purpose while managing the transition stressors that can accumulate and lead to negative consequences. Mentors are called Sponsors for this program. For more information click on the flier link above.
MIDDLETOWN CITY NY - VETERAN TREATMENT TRACK COURT
WESTCHESTER COUNTY NY - VETERAN TREATMENT TRACK COURT
(Mentor must be Veteran for the Treatment Track Programs)
ProVetus is honored to partner with the New York State Unified Court System 9th Judicial District. Peer mentors are a critical component of the Veterans Court/Track. Peer mentors are men and women who have previously served in our nation's armed forces and volunteer their time to work with veterans in the criminal justice system. They provide veteran-defendants with a unique source of support and motivation as they navigate through the court process.
Through the use of peer mentors, judicial monitoring, coordinated services and enhanced communication, the Veterans Court/Track seeks to provide veterans with immediate and intensive intervention so that they can successfully reintegrate into civilian life.
